It would look beautiful on olive to deep skin tones, although I’m fair-medium and I love this. If you were to choose one shade from the line, I’d say definitely pick this one up.ĩ15B Spiked With Rum – a slightly deeper version of In the Flesh, Spiked With Rum is a warm-toned berry that is a creamier, more intense version of the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution lipstick in Bond Girl. This is probably the most emollient in texture but it stays in place and doesn’t bleed, fade or smudge at all. It’s a perfect dupe for Bobbi Brown’s Tulle Brown, although I prefer In The Flesh because it’s a little more mauve. It’s creamy, easy to wear, understated yet super luxurious, and the colour is perfect either for a casual look or paired with a dramatic copper-brown smoky eye (my favourite at the moment). I have tried dark nudes from almost every high-end brand around, and the one I love the most is In The Flesh. I can see myself wearing this when I’m slightly more tanned, and find it very similar in tone to Bobbi Brown’s Roseberry lipstick, a lovely rose-based pink.ĩ12C In The Flesh – to me, this is lipstick perfection. It’s the perfect balance between pink and red, and the matte formula doesn’t make this look OTT or too dramatic.

It’s a warm pinky-peach that doesn’t compliment my skin-tone that well, but maybe on paler skin this would look more natural on me, I just look like I have orange paint on my lips!ĩ06D Wine Room – I adore this shade. Surprisingly, this is the least wearable shade and the one I am slightly disappointed with. Out of all the shades, this is the colour thats has received the most online hype, and I definitely see why!ĩ03C Just Peachy – this is Tati from Glam Life Guru’s favourite colour and the reason I wanted these so badly. This helps to lighten and soften the overall effect and because of it’s creamy matte texture, it’s super long-wearing. It’s a great everyday shade and I love to wear it with a slightly pink lip liner, like Charlotte Tilbury’s Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk. I don’t currently own Honey Love, but I have swatched it in store, and it’s virtually identical to Bare It All. Here are the colours I picked up I’ve already placed an order for a few more!ĩ02C Bare It All – a brilliant dupe for MAC’s Honey Love, Bare It All is a beautiful light mauve-brown that gives off that 90s grunge-lip look without looking too dark.

The MegaLast Lip Colours are a line with great ‘dupe-ability’ many of their shades are bang-on matches for MAC, Charlotte Tilbury and Bobbi Brown cult classics in my collection, which I’ve swatched alongside the MegaLasts so you can see how similar they are. They are dirt cheap as well (less than £2 for a full-size bullet), so you can really go to town picking as many colours as you like.

These have rave reviews both on blogs and Youtube, and one of my favourite beauty gurus Tati always talks about these for their incredible lasting power, matte yet creamy full coverage, and great selection of shades. I wish we had the selection and variety in the UK that they do in the states, and I often find myself scrolling through sites like Beauty Joint and Cherry Culture and lusting over $2 lipsticks and $4 foundations.Įvery couple of months I like to treat myself to a US haul, and recently I picked up the Wet N Wild MegaLast Lip Colours. American drugstore brands are an obsession of mine.
